Essential Services

Dogwood Property Management is proud to offer the following property management services to investors and property owners in Elizabeth City and the surrounding area:
  • Our web page provides 24 hour marketing of your vacant property and syndicates to dozens of third-party sites.
  • Supply rental applications and all other documents necessary to meet North Carolina’s landlord/tenant laws and federal fair housing laws.
  • Conduct thorough background and credit checks of all prospective tenants.
  • Ensure property is managed in accordance with applicable municipal, county, state and federal law.
  • Rent collection and disbursement through direct deposit
  • Fully account for all deposits and maintain tenant security deposits in a federally-insured trust account.
  • Notify clients prior to any excessive expenses regarding their property.
  • Ensure all required maintenance is done in a timely manner.
  • Provide convenient account access 24 hours per day through our online Owner Portal
  • Disburse all tenant deposit refunds and supply required documentation.
  • All collected rent and deposits are maintained in a client's trust account, subject to periodic auditing.
